PRIMER CONDICIONAL

Primer condicional: situaciones que vemos muy probables:

(If + present simple, will + infinitive)

If you wash the dishes, I’ll clean the living room.

If she asks me, I’ll help her.

If you marry him, he’ll be very happy.

Condición: Present Simple	Resultado: will + forma base del verbo
If we phone If we don't phone	They'll tell us the news We won't know the news

La primera del condicional expresa lo que ocurrirá si se cumple la condición señalada.

If Tom comes home soon, he'll be able to help
I'll watch TV more often if I get cable television

Cualquiera de las dos oraciones puede ir en primer lugar, pero si la condición va primero, debe ir seguida de coma.

Unless se puede emplear en lugar de if not. significa "si no", "a menos que", "ano ser que" y suele indicar una excepción a lo que se dice.

We'll go to her office if she doesn't come soon
We'll go to her office unless she comes soon

Nota: igual que if, las siguientes expresiones temporales introducen oraciones con sentido de futuro, pero deben llevar el verbo en presente.
